JONATHAN MORGAN

I'm Jonathan Morgan, a licensed home inspector and the owner of Tidemark Home Inspections. I'm originally from a small town in northeast Oklahoma and decided to permanently trade in tornadoes for hurricanes when I retired from the United States Marine Corps. Over the last 25 years, I've also worked with family members in various home-related professions – my stepfather is an electrician, my father is a property manager, my sister and brother-in-law own a plumbing company, and another brother-in-law is a general contractor. I’m excited to take the skills I've learned from my military service and side work and pair them with the extensive training I’ve received from Gregory Enterprises’ The Home Inspector Training Center to provide you with a thorough home inspection and a clear, comprehensive report. Throughout my Marine Corps career, I learned a lot about leading Marines through complex challenges and teaching skills that could be taken forward. In this career, I’m still leading and teaching, but now it's leading clients and realtors through this sometimes-overwhelming process and teaching them about the intricacies of their homes.

 

I live with my wife, two boys, and three dogs adjacent to a tidal creek, and we all enjoy the natural beauty this area offers. In my spare time, I enjoy searching for sharks' teeth on our beautiful beaches, fishing the waters near us, reading John Grisham books, and beating Dave Schaefer in golf every chance I get.
